Course Outline
Lesson 1: What is AI?
Our beginner-friendly AI lessons for students and teacher make artificial intelligence fun and accessible. Through hands-on activities, kids learn the difference between natural and artificial things, explore how machines "see" and "hear" using sensors, and even design their own AI robot. This playful approach builds early curiosity and confidence in AI, while encouraging creativity and real-world thinking. Perfect for schools starting AI education at the foundational level.
Lesson 2: What is Machine Learning?
In this lesson, students are introduced to the basics of machine learning. They discover how machines learn from data—called datasets—to make predictions and decisions. Through simple, engaging examples, learners explore key terms like bias, dataset, and prediction, gaining insight into how machines become "intelligent." This session builds a strong foundation for understanding how AI works in the real world.
Lesson 3: Understanding Algorithms?
In this lesson, students and teachers learn what an algorithm is and how to create one using simple, real-world examples. Through engaging, hands-on activities, learners explore how algorithms follow step-by-step rules to solve problems—just like a recipe. Students identify inputs, processes, and outputs, and even practice debugging their own instructions. Ideal for building foundational thinking in AI and computer science, this lesson supports both younger and older learners in UAE schools.
Lesson 4: Train your own Machine!
In this interactive lesson, students use Google’s Teachable Machine to train their own AI models—no coding required! They learn how to create a dataset, train the machine to recognize patterns, and watch it make real-time predictions. This hands-on activity brings AI to life, helping students understand how machines learn from data and make decisions. Perfect for schools in the UAE looking to give students practical, fun exposure to real-world AI tools.
Lesson 5: Exploring AI tools for classroom
-
Practical tools: ChatGPT, Canva Magic Write, Quizizz AI, Google Gemini, etc.
-
How to generate lesson ideas, rubrics, and worksheets
-
